East Valley Drill Meet
On February 27, Cadets from all special teams traveled to East Valley High school in Yakima, Washington to compete in the fourth drill meet of the season. The teams continue to show amazing skill. The Unarmed Drill Team placed fifth in overall performance. The team's Commander placed fourth. The Armed Drill Team placed sixth with their Commander placing fifth. Color Guard one and two placed fifth and sixth respectively. IAED competitors Cadets Kail Lynn and Adam Grau placed fourth and sixth (respectively). Physical Fitness Team placed sixth.
In the rifle marksman competition, the Precision Rifle Team placed first and the Sporter Rifle Team placed third. Individual precision rifle Cadets Madeline Erikson, Daniel Enger, Evan Jameson, and Sabrina Keenan placed second, third, fourth, and sixth. Individual sporter open class competitor Cadet Gavin Acevedo first n the open class category. Individual competitor Cadet Ashley Morgan placed first in the Marksman category, while expert competitors, Cadets Brock Betzler, Michael Shuster, and Spencer Carlyle placed second, third, and fourth.
