Command Sergeant Major Anthony Marrero is a native of Puerto Rico and raised in Miami, Florida. He entered the U.S. Army in August 1984 and attended One Stop Unit Training (OSUT) and Basic Airborne Training at Ft. Benning GA.
CSM Marrero has served in various leadership positions. Positions he has held include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Small Group leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major.
His assignments include; 1-75 Ranger Battalion, Savannah Georgia, 5-14th Infantry Schofield Barracks Hawaii, NCO Academy Fort Benning Georgia, 2-35 Infantry Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 4-31 Infantry Fort Drum New York, HHC 2nd BDE Fort Drum New York, 2-27 Infantry Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and 1-14th Infantry Schofield Barracks Hawaii.
He is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Equal Opportunity Course, Instructor’s Trainers Course, Small Group Leader’s Course, Tactics Certification Course, Air Assault School, Rappel Master, Pathfinder School, First Sergeants Course, Airborne School, U.S. Army Ranger School, and U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.
CSM Marrero has participated in OPERATION JUST CAUSE with 1st BN 75th Ranger Regiment as a Team Leader, SFOR-6 Bosnia as an Operations NCO, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF-V) with 2nd BN 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th ID as the Operations Sergeant Major, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF 9-11) with 3rd Brigade, 25th ID as the Brigade Command Sergeant Major.

SFC Mark Mebes
Sergeant First Class Mark Mebes graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 1990 and received his Associates Degree from American Public University in 2013. SFC Mebes served in the US Army as an Infantryman and a Recruiter, retiring in 2011 to take the instructor position at Walla Walla High School JROTC.
During his 21 year career he was a graduate of The US Army Airborne School, The Air Assault Course, Jumpmaster School, Ranger School, Pathfinder School, The Professional Leadership Development Course, The Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course, The Advanced Non-commissioned Officer Course, The US Army Recruiting Course, and the National Guard Recruiting and Retention Advanced Course.
